Genre: Romance movie
Weekend getaway movie (by LadyJay43 on Mon, 03 Feb 2014 07:03:00)
Watch "The Notebook" then watch this. Make sure you have plenty of tissues and ice cream. Very good movie! Very glad I bought it
Simply Stunning (by AKC 2005 on Thu, 28 Nov 2013 02:59:00)
The acting, the plot, and the movie as a whole is just amazing. Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana are just simple stunning actors in this movie of love and life unpredictable journey. A must see.
Read the book; its A LOT better. (by Auguay3500 on Fri, 16 Aug 2013 20:24:00)
Maybe it is a mistake to read the book before seeing the actually movie because this movie left me beyond annoyed. The book is wonderful, beautiful and often times had me rolling with laughter. I will admit, too, that it did indeed make me cry. But that just goes to show how the emotions present and created in the book moved me whereas the movie left me with utter disappointment.
Love love love this movie! (by auay on Thu, 11 Jul 2013 16:53:00)
A very good romantic movie. Very moving. Great plot - not that predictable.
Fantastic (by burnbad on Mon, 10 Jun 2013 00:27:00)
This is one of my all time favorite movies. Beautiful story.

Can I have the subtitles?
Definitely Worth Seeing (by An Anonymous Critic on Sat, 23 Feb 2013 15:35:00)
I'm not sure why this movie touched me so deeply or affected me as much as it did. The unique premise of "time-travel" has been done before, but not like this. Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana had great chemistry, and their acting was quite believable. By including the themes of love, loss, innocence, and aging, the Time Traveler's Wife powerfully transcends the average movie, and evokes great emotion in its audience.
Good Movie (by Jonesshow on Sun, 03 Feb 2013 20:04:00)
The movie was very touching. Recommended romance movie.
Just Alright, didn't expect much anyway (by Gunreacher on Tue, 22 Jan 2013 22:54:00)
I read the book way before I watched the movie, and let me tell you that I did not have high expectations. Books are always better because there is time to give a better insight to the characters and explain events and stuff.. This must have been a challenging script to write but I don't think they did THAT bad... I would've liked to see more parts from the book, and the guy they chose to play Gomez was just wrong... I wish they would have shown more of the struggles that Henry and Claire went through. The Notebook is still my favorite book/movie adaptation.
Books vs Movie (by Jeaction on Mon, 26 Nov 2012 07:06:00)
My honest opinion is that the movie is better. I saw the movie first, then read the book - Rachel and Eric are such fantastic actors, they bring the story alive and takes it to new heights. Yes, some things are lost in screenplay adaptation, but seeing the anguish in Clare's eyes, the love they have for each other - makes it all the more worthwhile. One of my favorite movies of all time
Love (by cdanirlrkre on Tue, 06 Nov 2012 04:05:00)
I adore this movie. It gave me a real good cry towards the end. I would watch this movie over and over but sadly I cant afford that many tissues! <3
Best Movie/Book combo! (by AshDMass on Tue, 24 Jul 2012 14:58:00)
I saw this movie a year or more ago and was captivated. The Time Traveler's Wife is one of the rare movies that I can watch over and over again and am entranced with the same emotions each and every time!!! Finally read the book a few days ago and found that I was sucked in to each and every page. I strongly recommend this delightful treat to all the romantics of the world!!!!
Fall in love, hope & touches across time (by Chriscz on Thu, 28 Jun 2012 11:19:00)
I had many lovely times while reading the book many times. It is still my 2nd favorite book all-time going. I was elated when the movie came, and the movie was indeed surreal to me the first time I saw it. It continues to be something that touches me in so many ways to real life. The book made my first reading very puzzling and simultaneously engrossing--and I read it more than five times in one month thereafter. Each time in reading and watching, it was as if I were there with them experiencing their own efforts and emotions to assemble the entire picture of their lives together resulting from Henry's skipping around through his & others' lifetimes. I love the book as written. I love the movie's screenplay as portrayed. The latter deviates from the former, but each in its own right is wonderful. Books and movies are different media environments, but I still like both. And for those that do not like heartfelt films, well, it is probably true that this somewhat sentimental film might not be something you like, or maybe it will. But, I love it, and although it does 'tear me apart' every time I dang watch it,... I still love it because it truly is a great metaphor, story, concept, and even a hope for those that look forward to something transcendent. Kind of reminds me of Poe and Lamb. Enjoy!
Read the Book! (by SukieMc on Mon, 25 Jun 2012 13:45:00)
Movie was okay but did not nearly do the book justice. There weres so much more characters, background story and plot lines in the book that were more three-dimensional and compelling. If you want to while a way a couple of hours and get teary, then the film will serve that purpose. If you want to get engaged with characters you will care about, then read the book.
don (by foxy386 on Wed, 06 Jun 2012 17:31:00)
I really wanted to like this movie, I had high hopes since macadams starred in the movie. I loved her in the notebook, but the time traveller's wife was a real disappointment .15minutes into the movie and I knew it was a total waste of $ and time
If you (by me&marsh on Sun, 13 May 2012 05:29:00)

Read the book before watching the film. (by M.Kay. on Tue, 17 Jan 2012 00:59:00)
If you have not read the book, its understandable that you would find the movie a bit confusing. Thankfully I read the book first, and the movie just pulled the whole concept together. Fantantasic movie!
Amazing (by Davevonte on Mon, 02 Jan 2012 23:55:00)

Best Movie (by Tadpolebarr on Mon, 14 Nov 2011 23:40:00)
This is an amazing movie in my opinion. I love the actors and how they work perfect with the character that they are playing. I would recomend this to anyone who wants to see a movie on what true romance is.
TTW - What a shame... (by racerboy05 on Mon, 26 Jul 2010 15:46:00)
So much was missed from the book. The beauty, magic, and romance that was so crucial to the story (in the book), fell well short of what I expected in this movie. It surprises me that the author actually allowed this adaptation to be made. I could go on and on about what I feel is wrong with this film but it would take to long. I'm just so glad that I didn't see this movie in the theater. Read the book, skip the movie. Best to all.
The Time Traveler's Wife (by poesierenee on Mon, 26 Jul 2010 14:36:00)
It's been a long time since I have seen a movie that was so unbearable I had to turn it off. It is just plain terrible. Terrible acting, terrible script... High school students make better films on their Macs with no budgets! This film does not deserve a single star. I'm pretty mad that I wasted $4.37 toward this rental.
Awesome (by Victorious Crown on Sun, 25 Jul 2010 00:18:00)
I teared up a little. Was exceptional. Better than I thought it was going to be.
Great (by Faithrene2011 on Sun, 04 Jul 2010 20:00:00)
This movie was great.. Deff a tear jerker but a great date movie.. It's probably one of the best love stories I have seen in a while and they picked the bet people to act in the movie! :)
Boring (by 5/17/94 on Thu, 01 Jul 2010 08:10:00)
I read the book. It was a fun read but the movie was dull at best.
Time traveler's Wife (by Jim@ESV on Wed, 30 Jun 2010 01:58:00)
Sorry, I thought this film was well acted but the story just bored me. I kept watching hoping it would get better. It didn't. It seemed as though it went nowhere and did nothing. I just found the characters one demential.
Bad (by CZR345? on Mon, 28 Jun 2010 20:25:00)
This is sad he appears in front of her dads gun and gets shot and dies
Rachel McAdams (by JC me on Mon, 28 Jun 2010 19:04:00)
She was a awesome actor along with the movie. <3
Amazing (by Chelly8 on Sun, 27 Jun 2010 02:54:00)
Too be honest, I really was hesitant to watch this movie, but I'm really glad I did. It's a tear jerker. I give 5 stars! :)
Good but... (by Audiophile<3 on Thu, 24 Jun 2010 17:36:00)
It always seemed as if it was really late because it was dark most of the time.
SLOW!!!!! (by irishswimmer1 on Wed, 23 Jun 2010 05:10:00)
Nothing even happens that is cool or exciting! It's pretty boring too if you ask me! Rent it before you buy it. I couldn't even finish the movie
Umm (by Leeannn on Tue, 22 Jun 2010 20:20:00)
It was OK. It kind of sucked.
Good but Awkward (by BlownAway101 on Tue, 22 Jun 2010 00:16:00)
It was a very good movie but it was hard to follow at some points and it is very "showing" they show a little too much in at some parts. I still think it is a very good movie because it has a very good story line but the ending is kind of bad though.
Not like the book (by bulcaoo on Mon, 21 Jun 2010 02:47:00)
I've read the book and watched the movie. The book is fabulous, each step of their lives is depicted with detail, their romance is harsh but real and the movie does not do it justice. Eric Bana is a cheezy actor in this film and doesn't understand his role. I promise the book is a better buy.
Finally Something New (by This Guy58 on Sun, 20 Jun 2010 03:52:00)
Unlike most time traveler movies this one has a good story to it, beautiful scenery and great acting. This movie is great right to the end, even my Mother liked it. I bought it right away and am glad I did. You'll enjoy thinking your way through this movie.
Some much better than the notebook (by walker4238 on Thu, 17 Jun 2010 13:32:00)

I fell in love with these two characters and hope to experience the love that they shared. Even though the movie was confusing at times it still was great. The book was amazing as well. Great job by Rachel and Eric!!!

LAY-AYME (by Sassiechica on Fri, 11 Jun 2010 21:26:00)
It's just stupid. A lady that fell in love with a guy that kept going away. She was like 6 when she first met him...he never stayed with her and then he got shot. Oh, how wonderful! Not.
Terrible (by Lxhchysvjoiewg on Wed, 09 Jun 2010 03:13:00)
This is the worst movie I have ever watched it made no sense and had no point. It was just a guy who kept dissapering until he got shot.
Good (by Faty7 on Tue, 08 Jun 2010 16:17:00)

Amazing!!!! (by Team D on Tue, 08 Jun 2010 03:08:00)
This movie is so good. I haven't read the book yet but I think I because of all the amazing things people have writen about both. I can't wait to watch this movie again. I saw it at like midnight with my cousins and friends so I didn't get much out of it but what I remember was amazing. Parts are a little confusing but it was still good. I loved the parts that weren't confusing and loved the plot. It's true how the end is sad but just what happens makes it even sadder. If you heard what happens and then decide it's dumb. Then your dumb! This movie is amazing and I loved all of it. If you are thinking about watching the movie you should. This movie was down e Right the best movie ever!!!! I loved it. Its romantic but still sad. I still can't get over how sad it us. Well if your looking for a good movie definatly choose this one!!!!
